Description
The ideal candidate will apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, as part of an engineering staff. They will be responsible for working with COMSEC equipment and adhering to the processes and procedures associated with COMSEC. Typical responsibilities include:
- Properly account for, store, issue, inventory, destroy (if necessary), and safeguard all COMSEC material provided to them.
- Create and retain the required accounting documentation
- Ensure users have the proper clearance and are authorized to access COMSEC material
- Issue COMSEC material on local custody forms
- Provide written guidance concerning handling, accountability, and disposition of COMSEC material
- Conduct training to ensure that all personnel handling COMSEC material adhere to COMSEC procedures
- Incorporate emergency action and/or emergency destruction procedures for COMSEC material
- Expert on handling Data transfer devices for keying of all Cryptographic equipment
Position Requirements
- This position requires three to ten years of experience in performing the foregoing functions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Salary Range
80K-110K and will commensurate with experience
