Job Summary
As a Verification & Validation Engineer – Compliance based near Athens,
Greece, you will join a highly motivated team to bring innovative solutions to market for customers in the AGV, Robotics, and Industrial Automation sectors. You will be responsible for verification and compliance testing and laboratory governance, ensuring products meet international standards and regulatory requirements. Beyond executing tests, you will contribute to reliability and lifecycle validation, support risk assessments, and provide structured documentation and training to strengthen lab operations. You will also collaborate with R&D teams and external laboratories, ensuring full requirement-to-test traceability and high-quality verification outcomes.
Job Description
Responsibilities
• Own verification/validation process of Roboteq products concerning reliability, lifecycle, environmental and certification testing.
• Derive comprehensive verification plans, focusing on reliability, lifecycle, and environmental testing (e.g. ftb, surge, vibration, thermal cycling), based on customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and international standards, ensuring full traceability and contribution to reliability growth analysis.
• Organize & perform functional, lifecycle, environmental and certification tests in accordance with international standards.
• Coordinate external testing activities, including defining test scopes, reviewing quotations, witnessing critical tests, and conducting technical evaluations of third-party reports to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized laboratory environment, ensuring regulatory alignment, audit readiness and proper calibrated equipment.
• Plan pre-compliance vs certification test strategies; schedule lab time and manage resources.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test procedures, work instructions, and report templates.
• Support conformity assessment processes (CE marking, EMC Directive, Machinery Directive, RoHS/REACH where applicable).

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in product verification, compliance engineering, or laboratory operations
• Strong knowledge of international standards and standardization processes (IEC 61000, IEC 60068, ISO/IEC safety standards)
• Proven experience in compliance, safety governance, and calibration programs
• Hands-on competence with laboratory equipment, measurement systems, and mechanical workshop tools
• Experience in technical documentation and process authoring (procedures, templates, reports)
• Familiarity with CE marking and conformity assessment processes
• Experience collaborating with external laboratories and certification bodies
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, training, and mentoring abilities
• English language: strong written and spoken proficiency
