About the job
Nordic Wing is looking for a talented Mechanical R&D Engineer that can be part of our team developing light weight structures. Your job will focus on developing the next generation of high-end fixed wing drones through design, simulation, prototyping, and testing. We are moving in a fastchanging technological landscape, and we need capable and curious minds with new ideas and technical skills!
Your tasks will cover a wide range of engineering skills, such as CAD modelling, material selection, finite element simulation, testing and validation, etc. You should not be afraid of researching, testing new technologies and taking your ideas flying.
About you
The perfect candidate would display the following:
• M.Sc. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
• Good working knowledge of FEA, preferably Optistruct and/or Radioss
• Experience with light weight design
• Experienced in working with CAD software
• Good understanding of composites and manufacturing methods
• Fluent English skills, spoken and written

Practical
The position is full-time.
You will be working north of Copenhagen at the old military airport: Flyvestation Værløse.
