Your role
- Concept work on controlling collaborative robots and pushing the limits of mechatronic prototypes and enhance performance of our existing products
- Tuning and optimization of existing control algorithms for robotic systems
- Design and implementation of new control features and algorithms
- Development of new algorithms and functions required for sensors & power actuators and integration into embedded software
- Working on bridging the reality gap between simulated and real robots
Your experience & qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- In-depth knowledge in software engineering and experience as a developer for at least 3+ years
- Expertise in software development processes (version control, testing, debugging, performance evaluation) and agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
- Solid skills in MATLAB®/Simulink® and C/C++
- Preferably experience in hands-on robotics research
- High personal standard of performance and drive for result
- Passion for developing innovative solutions as part of an interdisciplinary, cross-functional team
- Strong communication skills in English, German is optional
