Job Requirements:
- Work on the technologies that support the next-generation edge-deployed AI powering advanced robotic products and services such as the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging processes for software embedded in computers controlling the flight of UAVs.
- Test the performance, reliability, and scalability of embedded systems and overall design choices.
- Assist in overall system design and take responsibility for the detailed design of specific sub-systems.
- Review and maintain the existing code base to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and efficient performance, and implement updates and enhancements to address evolving technology and business requirements.
- Develop and establish protocols and standards for communication, both drone-to-drone) and drone-to-ground and ensure that communication protocols are robust, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of software deployment, staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the drone and software engineering fields to integrate cutting-edge solutions into the company’s drone products.
- Collaborate closely cross-functional teams and engineers to define product specifications and requirements.
- Provide post-production support by analyzing field issues and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
The candidate must possess at least a master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus at least 6 months of work experience in the same or related position involving embedded systems.
Full-time, offered wage: $137,259.00
