GLYNDWR INNOVATIONS LIMITED - Precision Optical Systems

Glyndwr Innovations Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glyndwr University. The company offers a complete design and build service for optical systems and components large and small, maximum capability is for optics with complex surfaces up to 1.8m in diameter. This includes convex, concave, flat, spherical, aspheric or freeform surfaces. The production, metrology and testing of large optics is supported by engineering and metrology teams working in a dedicated manufacturing area and labs. Engineering capability includes opto-mechanical and mechanical design including optical mounts and precision actuation including ground support equipment. The team is also experienced in the build, integration and commissioning of these systems. The Team has recently developed ultra lightweight optical systems for use in aerial ground imaging applications.
