What You’ll Be Doing
- Contributing to full PCB design of tethered drone systems, including all phases of PCB design from concept to layout to test, cable harnesses, production manufacturing documentation, and acceptance test procedures
- Conducting electronics failure analysis and implementing mitigation strategies
- Utilizing ECAD and simulation tools (Altium, LTSpice) for design and development tasks
- Collaborating with mechanical engineering team for electronics packaging with 3D modeling/CAD
- Working with technicians to provide electronic assembly and test assistance
Why You’ll Be Successful
- Full PCB design experience and electronics packaging expertise
- BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering (or comparable)
- Experience with drones/UAS, RC, or robotics systems a bonus
- Self-starter with effective problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Adaptability in a high-tempo and rapidly shifting environment
- Experience with RF Systems and MIL-STD-461 a big plus
