Position Description:
The Autonomous Systems Electrical Engineer in this position will perform assigned electrical engineering tasks including circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, wire harness design, electromechanical/electrical system testing, and data analysis. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager, while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to design and build subsystem/hardware/software for our aircraft systems
- Prepare and create schematics, engineering drawings, test plans/procedures
- Collaborate with mechanical, GNC, manufacturing, aerodynamic, procurement, quality assurance, and project/program management teams
- Demonstrate and encourage adherence to best practices and standard procedures
Required Skills/ Qualifications:
- Proven understanding of Electrical Engineering principles
- Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting, validating/testing, and analyzing subsystems/systems
- Experience in documenting designs and analyses with written reports
- Ability to design using CAD software such as Altium
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in designing robotic and/or aircraft systems
- UAV experience highly desired
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and firmware/software
- Experience in small to medium sized teams in an R&D environment
- Familiar with MIL spec hardware and harnessing standards
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 3-5+ years progressive experience

- Must have the ability to stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
- May be performing physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors.
Other Requirements:
It is an essential requirement for the person in this role to have a legal right to work in the United States and be eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or $annual bonus.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $125,000 per year
