Dufour Aerospace develops efficient and sustainable aircraft for cargo transportation, logistics and public safety. It uses distributed electric propulsion and a hybrid module to be able to meet today's Advanced Air Mobility and medium-sized drone market requirements.
Tasks
- Creating 3D designs with Onshape
- Creating drawings that comply with manufacturing and standards
- Creating concepts and feasibility studies as well as simple functional prototypes (e.g. 3D printing)
- Collaboration with other departments (calculation, production) to ensure that the designs meet the requirements.
- Support in optimizing existing designs and implementing improvements regarding "Design for Manufacturing" and "Design for Cost".

qualification
- Completed training as a design engineer, mechanical engineer or in a related field
- Several years of experience in the application of 3D CAD
- Solid knowledge of mechanical design and development
- Knowledge in the field of fiber-reinforced composites is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for aviation, teamwork skills, a structured work approach and technical understanding.
- Good German skills, both spoken and written; good English skills, both spoken and written.

- Completed training as a designer, mechanical engineer, or in a related field
- Several years of experience in using 3D CAD
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical design and development
- Knowledge in the field of fiber composite is a plus
- Passion for aviation, teamwork, structured working approach, and technical understanding
- Good knowledge of German, both spoken and written, and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
