The Role:
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Flyby Robotics, you will build, scale, and fully own a new web application that will be a core part of our software suite. You will work on a wide variety of features, including a responsive and modern UI, multi-user system with authentication and data storage, and cross-device communication. This role is for someone who is motivated by product ownership and working on real-world value.
- What You’ll Do: Own a new product in the Flyby Robotics software suite.
- Design and build a web fronted using TypeScript/React and modern web practices.
- Develop backend services and deploy them in the cloud.
- Contribute to the overall software goals and current requirements of Flyby Robotics.
- Core Requirements:3+ years of professional experience as a full stack software engineer.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality code, project ownership, and writing robust tests.
- Demonstrated competence with version control and code documentation.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Nice to have:Professional experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
- Understanding of REST, gRPC, GraphQL, MQTT, and Gstreamer.
- Experience with Deck.gl and Mapbox.
- History of scaling systems with growing a growing user-base
- You have a love for robots, drones, and hardware.
- Compensation and Benefits:$130,000 per year annual salary.
- 0.25%-0.75% equity via stock options, depending on the candidate's experience.
