Do you enjoy solving problems that have never been solved before? Well, we have a couple of these in our autonomous driving department, which focuses on the intelligence layer of navigation for both our manned and unmanned vehicles.
Join us as a SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (AUTONOMOUS DRIVING) who will primarily work with our control systems and interfaces, ensuring that vehicles move effortlessly through unpredictable landscapes and constantly changing environments, from meadows to deserts.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading development and rolling your sleeves up producing software for making sure that vehicle moves autonomously and with precision.
- Developing and implementing mathematical algorithms that ensure vehicles reach predetermined destinations.
- Executing research on control systems and modelling vehicle movement based on existing data.
- Ensuring vehicle safety in autonomous mode.
- Working with various mobility platforms both tracked and wheeled.
What we’re looking for:
- Solid experience in programming, preferably in C++ or Python.
- Senior level understanding of physics and mathematics and a practical application of them.
- Good Linux know-how.
- Interest in being involved in control system development for autonomous vehicles.
- Self-improvement mindset and proactive attitude on problem-solving.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Higher education in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any other related field.
Additional skills (preferred but not required):
- Background in robotics and familiarity with ROS or ROS2.
- Experience with control systems of robotic platforms.
- Background in developing autonomous systems.
- Experience with model predictive controllers.
- Experience with building universal interfaces for controlling vehicles.
